Greater Los Angeles has the worst air pollution in the country.
For as much progress we’ve made to push back against smog – and we have made significant progress – in 2019 the South Coast Air Basin Violated Federal Standards for Ozone for 85 days in a row, narrowly missing the near record of 87 set the year before. Without a doubt, we have our challenges.
The good news is that a diverse group of people have come together to push back against smog. Los Angeles has come together in a big way.
