More than 1.6 million Californians took action on California Clean Air Day 2020

Over 1.6 million people took action for California Clean Air Day yesterday!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated and did their part towards clean air in California yesterday.

On October 7, 2020, more than 1.6 million Californians took part in the third annual California Clean Air Day resulting in more than 3.1 million actions. Likewise, more than 500 companies, agencies and organizations officially signed up, and 11 city leaders across the state took the Clean Air Day challenge to push for clean air. Thank you to everyone who made this effort a success.

From Californians who took measures to protect their health like changing out cleaning products and air filters to those who reduced emissions by finding ways to leave their cars at home to those who continue their daily practices to clear the air, we were deeply inspired by all of your stories and committed actions. We’d like to share some of those with you here:

And thank you to our sponsors and funders!

To our far-sighted sponsors who clearly understand the importance of clean air for all Californians – California Clean Air Day is made possible by your support.
